When my furnace kicks on it sporadically fails to ignite the main burner even though I can clearly see the pilot flame functioning. If it fails to light after a few seconds the pilot light or pre-ignition light(not sure what you call it) goes out and my fan keeps running blowing unheated air. It only happened a couple times at first but is now igniting less than 50% of the time. Any suggestions? Thanks.

a couple points 4u ref.
1.check the wire, make it secure. 2.adjust the pilot burner cup to lead gas focusing on the spark area 3.check and clean pilot burner orifice 4. clean electron and flame rod
this is the pilot burner assembly. http://www.houseneeds.com/shop/HeatingProducts/HydronicHeating/misc/heatsuppservicepartstechpage.asp?model=Q345A1305
I like fixing everything.
