I am trying to replace an old thermostat, I have purchased a Hunter brand replacement...
I have four wires
red
green
blue
white
my furnace is Heil and gas operated
I am not sure which color goes to where
I have on the hunter thermostat

Hunter or Rite temp are garbage. get a White Rogers or at least a Honeywell.
R-----red
W-----white
G-----green
y-----blue
turn off power to furnace at the switch BEFORE you do anything...or you'll be sorry.
