Hello, I have a Crown forced air furnace (model # MDA 120 NH5R) that shuts off before reaching the set temp. Once I "flip" the on/off switch on the furnace, it will restart. I can see the flames once it ignites but the flames go out after 30 seconds then the blower shut off in about 10 mins. Is there a sensor or something that I can replace? Thanks for any and all help!!!!

See if there is an original equipment manufacturer (like Goodman, Carrier, Lennox) listed on a metal plate near the furnace controls. Crown does not seem to be a common name.
Does this furnace have a small draft inducer motor as part of the flue system? Is the air filter clean? Are all returns (air in) and sepply (air out) open in every room where they are located? Try setting the FAN to ON at the thermostat so it's moving air and then call for heat. Do the burners now stay on for longer than 30 seconds?

The label states Crown Boiler on the metal plate with spec as well as the access door. There is not an inducer motor that is a part of the flue. The air filter is new and the "air in" & "air out" supplies are all open.
I set the FAN to ON at the thermostat and the burner remained on for about a minute. I read other posts as well as forums and I read something about a flame sensor that requires cleaning. Thank you for replying!!!

yes, flame sensor(rod) needs to be cleaned. Moreover, make sure the flame rod stands in front of burner.
I like fixing everything.

Where is the flame sensor and/or flame rod located? How can I upload a pic? I would like someone to point it out so I can replace it or clean it. Thanks.
