We recently installed the honeywell RTH7400 (5-1-1) programmable t-stat replacing our VERY OLD Baystat339 t-stat. We have about a 20 yr old Trane Heat Pump and now nothing is working.

We think we wired everything correctly by looking at this website and also the directions. I think the fan might work but nothing else is turning on - no heat, no AC, the unit lights up and you can turn it to heat but nothing happens. Does anyone have any information on correct wiring so I can go back and figure this out and maybe programming??

Thanks

Rowan

read the instruction of installation. it's pretty detailed.

I like fixing everything.

Recheck your wiring, especially the old B which is now C.

Option 170 = 7
option 190 = 0

Replace the fuse in the air handler after rechecking your stat wiring. It will probably be this one...

"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
