So the past two nights I have been woken up to rattling sounds coming from the air handler closet. I have an older Lenox heat pump and just recently started running the heat.
This noise does not appear to happen when the system is running. It seems to also only happen at night as well.
It is definitely a rattling sound as I was awake this morning to hear it loud and clear. It is almost as if there is wind vibrating the unit.
Any ideas?
