My mother has an old Ruud (1997) with a IFC #1068-300. At first i realized that i had a gas pressure problem as there was only a low pressure regulator at her tank. So i put a high pressure regulator there and had to put a low pressure one inline for her stove. Then i realized that her blow-back or roll-out switch had gone bad. (very rusty, couldn't reset it, etc.). I replaced that and the furnace came on with no problem whatsoever. It ran that night, but the next evening it would not come on. Went i went back to look at it, i have no power at all to the control board. The LED light will not even light up. I can't find any problem with the wiring and the ac blower works fine.
Is it safe to assume the control board has gone bad or should I check for something else? I thought maybe the transformer had gone bad, but looking at the wire schematic, power comes to it 'through' the IFC. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all, Steve
Thank you and may God Bless you. Steve
