Hello i have a vision pro 8000 seriees thermostat from a previous apt, we just moved into a house and i'm pretty sure that we have a 1heat/1cool unit but i'm not 100 percent. The furnace is a carrier model # fy4anf036. The previous thermostat was a carrier TSTATCCBHP01-B that had 6 terminals W, O, G, R, C, Y and all were wired.
i hooked up the honeywell thermostat model# th8110u1003 with Rc & R jumped R to R on the honewell O to the O/B on the honeywell Y to the Y on the honeywell G to the G on the honeywell C to the C on the honeywell and i was left with an extra wire that previously plugged into the W terminal
The thermostat had power, the fan worked, but when i turned the a/c on hot air came out and when i turned the heat on nothing happend so i imagine i need to do somthing with the wire that plugs into the W. if anyone has wiring suggestions i would appreciate it. I contacted honeywell and they were no help, i'm hoping that i just had it wired wrong but if i need to buy a different thermostat that would be fine also. Thank you for any help and if you need more information please let me know. Nick

You have a multistage heat pump.
The Visionpro TH8110 will not support your multistage heatpump. The TH8320 and the TH8321 will. W = Aux & E (use jumper) O = O/B G = G R = Rc & R (use provided jumper) C = C Y = Y
Color codes vary, (especially C and E)
Set option 170 to 7 (2Heat/1Cool heat pump with aux. heat) option 190 = 0 (O/B terminal is O)
"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
