Need help in replacing, or re-wiring, Lennox G8 series furnace fan control relay (original part #L4068). Lennox states the relay is no longer available and I am having trouble locating one to replace the existing one. Contacts in the relay stick in the closed position (usually N.O.) and blower motor continues to run after plentum temperature calls for the fan motor to shut off. The only way to shut the blower motor off is either cut the power or tap on the relay to "unstick" the contacts. I have attempted to re-adjust the "Fan Off" and "Fan Differential" temperature relays with no luck. Does anyone have a contact where I can locate a relay? Or, can anyone help with suggestions for a new relay or re-wire scheme?

Don't be surprised if they don't have it as they deal directly with Lennox. Usually you can substitute a White Rodgers 8A04 or 8A04-A type relay depending on the coil voltage, physical size, amperage rating. Experienced techs can usually retrofit something. Take some pics of it and post them at photobucket or imageshack.us and we may be able to recommend one. Paste the IMG link or pic link in your reply.
