I have two Trane Weathertron heat pumps, model #TWR024C100A1, and model #TRW918C100A1 servicing mainfloor and 2nd floor respectively. I want to change out the thermostats and have purchased two LUX model #TX9000TS to replace older thermostats. After getting the new Lux thermostats I haven't been able to determine if they are compatible. Would like to know if I should tear into the packaging and try or should I return it for (what comparable model)????
