Hi, I have a Ritetemp thermostat and a Unico system. The problem is that when the heat is supposed to go on it does not. The thermostat recognizes that the current temp. is below the target temp. and the 'Heat' icon blinks on and off, but the heat does not turn on, or at least the fan is not turning on. The cooling works fine, no problem. Im wondering if maybe there shouldnt be a wire connected to the B terminal? The terminals that are currently connected are C, B, W, Y, RH, RC, and G. Another thing that confuses me are the jumper settings. I'm really not sure what these should be set on. Here's the possibilities: RC-RH connected/separate (im assuming they should be connected), Elec Heat/No fan, HP-AUX only/normal, Gas/oil heat/No fan, Heat Pump/normal. The settings that I had had it on was RC-RH connected and Gas/oil Heat. although now im wondering if maybe it should be on heat pump? or electric? thanks for your help!!

Do you have a heat pump or a gas furnace?
