Our Model XE80 Trane furance is giving us problems with igniting.There is no consistency with each ignition.-25% normal and 75% with various scenarios: like ignition with a loud bang as if there is accumulation of gas and then ignited or the same scenario, but it sounds like the first burner ignited properly and then the rest with a bang.Then the same thing again but now with a small scent of gas.Each ignition is different with no set pattern. 11/2 years ago I changed the circuit board because it failed.I routinely clean the flame sensing probe, that usually takes care the problem off not igniting and shutting down and haveing to restart again. I noticed, when the furance calls for heat,the purge blower goes on as it should, then the igniter comes on,the gas valve comes after when the igniter is glowing down,to my way of thinking,either the gas valve is late in opening or the igniter isn't staying long enough. I sure hope there is someone with the suggestion for my dilemma.
