Hello,
I have a Goodman SSZ16024 Heat Pump with an AEPF variable speed air handler which has 10kw of electric heat in it.
Would you call this a single stage heat/single stage cool system OR 2 stage heat/single stage cool because of the electric auxiliary heat?
The reason I ask is to resolve a thermostat (Honeywell TH8320U)/Air Handler wiring issue.
Xander

ITs 2 stage heat, single stage cooling. If the heatpump cannot keep up and the second bulb closes contacts the electric aux heat will kick in to help the heat pump.
