Hi. I know very little about my HVAC unit, except that I have it maintenanced twice a year and change the filters every 3 months. I have recently turned the house that houses this unit into an investment/rental property. I have a prospective client who has asked me whether the HVAC unit is "gas or electric". I guess I always assumed it is electric. This much I do know: it is a Rudd UAKA-042JAZ. Can anyone tell me if these are standard as either "gas" or "electric" or how I can tell? Thanks a bunch.

That is a 42,000 BTU heat pump, and it probably has electric duct heaters for auxillary heat.
So hte answer is electric!
It's only a shock if your not expecting it!
