I have a Goodman CPH42-1G outdoor unit and not sure what the unit is in my attic. Anyway, I turned the heat on for the first time this morning and it wouldn't come on. I can hear the unit in the attic fire up for a couple of seconds and then it goes off, the fan never comes on and the unit outside never comes on. Seems like it did this last year the first time we tried to turn it on, but the units started to work after turning the thermostat off and then back to heat a couple of times. I'm at a loss, anybody got any advice before I have to call someone out. Thanks

Don't know what the hold up was but the heat finally came on about 16 hours later, turned the heat on 630am, came on around 1030pm, all is well, just strange.........

is this gas or electric heat?go up in the attic and take off the burner door(if its gas heat)and see whats happening.or call a pro and pay to get it fixed.
