Hello everyone! I would like some advise, I bought a 3 ton packaged Heat pump thats a Goodman and I have a 10k heat coil that I have to put into it. I dont know how. Also I would like input on this whole setup. I live in a double wide that has the trailor duct work and I plan on hooking into it with the supply ends, 8" on one side and 8" on the other side of the home that run the whole length. I am going to use all flex duct work and keep it off the ground with straps. The return line is a 16" flex. I want to know can someone give me a how to on how to wire this up? I am at your mercy! Also how well will this work? I was told that it would work fine. I was also told that I should move the vent to the outside walls and install a 16" flex down the center and come off it into every room with 6" flex. I dont have the time right now to do all that. I wonder how this will compare? I have right now a 3 ton heat pump that is install with a 12" return (bad size?)It has a heat coil but the unit stays running all winter and most of the summer. So something is up with it. any ideas if my new setup will work any better? HELP! Also with the new thermastat wiring I want to install I need help knowing what color goes where? Again its a 3 ton Goodman with aux 10k strips and the thermastat is a digital made for heat pumps with aux honeywell. Please let me know guys. Thanks for your time.
