I have an old Tappan gas fired forced hot air furnace. This AM when I turned the heat on, I heard the furnace heat up, then I heard a 'click' for the blower to start but the blower did not start. After that, I turned the fan to the 'on' postion. I heard a 'click' again but no fan. Any ideas.

First thing you need to do is find out if you are getting the correct voltage to the blower motor after you here it click.

your motor??see if it spins freely-shut off the power first-if it spins easily it could be the capacitor
