Hello from the UAE!

I am having a problem with our AC unit. About a week ago it starting making this light buzzing noise, like a hummm. Now it's really noticable so I popped the ceiling tile off to take a look. It's coming from what looks like a little motor. I took some pics of it to see if I could find out what it was on the interweb but google came up with no leads. It has the Letters NMB 18705404 and under that it has >PET-FR-GF 30<
If anyone knows what that is that would be great. It looks fairly simple to replace but I need to know what I'm looking for first! I am not sure if I can post pics here but if anyone is interested in seeing them they can email me (tompeij at gmail dot com)

Thanks for any help!

Jason

is it the transformer? two power legs on each side? in other words two wires on one side and two wires on the other side? if so its a transformer hum sometimes its not much to worry about. Check for low voltage output and verify its above 24vac also verify the volt amps are sufficent for the load required.
