I recently purchased a home with a goodman gmnt100-4 and we think it ran great for the past 5 years its been in the house. Now it is going through it's cycle and not igniting. The ignitor turns on, the fan turns on, the gas valve is getting 24 volts, but not opening. P.S. already replaced gas valve (brand new) same outcome. Also if anyone has any experience with ao smith gas water heaters, i am having about the same issues with that.

Call your gas utility. Sounds like their regulator or meter is failing/not supplying you with enough pressure for both. Had one slowly fail last year.
