I hav a Trane XE80 1994....I know...I'm due. My problem is when there isa call for heat, "the glow plug" doesn't glow to ignite the gas. It did this yesterday and I remoed the plug to look at it and it looks slightly cracked on the top. I placed it back into position, turned power back on to it, and it worked fine all day and last night. I turned up the heat thismorning, and it wont glow to ignite....any help is greatly appreciated!!
PS- I would gladly replace the part-not sure where to find it.

check for 120vac to the ignitor (hsi) if there is power to the ignitor but it wont glow replace ignitor you have to go to a parts wholesaler to get the hsi that deals with trane equipment.
