problem what is my system type What is it. I have a trane xe1000 heat pump modal # twr030c100A2 outside and a trane 2 1/2 -5 ton- convertible air handler modal # TWE030C140 when asked on my new stat is it a multiple stage 2 heat and 1 cool or 2 cool and 1 heat or 2 of each. or heat/cool with centra air or heat pump or heat only wit fan or heat pump wit aux what do i select?

it is a heat pump with aux heat wire the emergency heat wire to w1 w2 or aux depends on the stat. the 30 in the airhandler model number denotes a 2 1/2 ton h.p. So set up the stat for multi stage 2 heat and 1 cool.
