I would like to wire my Aprilaire 600 directly to my Carrier MPV Infinity furnace. Should I directly wire the the solenoid directly to the furnace circuit board? If so, should the wires got to the two terminals marked DHUM and 24 V Con?

Also, I have a beckett condensing pump with two emergency wires that can be connected to the furnace to that will shut down operations in the event of a malfunction. Can anyone tell me where to wire them to the furnace?

if you have the four wire set up abcd I will not disclose that information call a reputable infinity contractor. But if its the regular setup w,y,r,g,c you wire your humidifier to the hum and c connections then to an isolation relay and then to your solenoid. For the condensate pump wire it to break the r circuit one leg to the r wires the other to the terminal r. Its a very simple series circuit you break the r to kill all low voltage power to the circuit, in order to prevent the system from running. You dont break the y circuit b/c the furnace is a condensing furnance.

what the heck Im in a rare mood to share you still wire the solenoid to hum and c connections. You put the relay in order to prevent a buck in the circuit. however, sometimes this is not required. the common (c) goes to one wire on the solenoid and the other wire the hum or 24vac power goes to other wire on the solenoid. You then have to program your infinity control for the humidifier, for the humidistat provides no purpose. The infinity control takes over the humidistats purpose. For the condensate pump wiring Id have to look it up and the info is out in my work truck.
