Replacing a Generic Digital Lux with the above programable.
On the Lux the following wires were connected:
White Wire to W
Red Wire to RH Jumper to RC
Blue Wire to B
Brown Wire to O
Yellow Wire to Y
Green Wire to G
This is a conventional FHA & Cooling System

On the RTH7500 I have RC, R, W, Y, G, C, Y2, W2
My confusion is the wire that were on the Lux B & O Terminals
Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Rich T.

If you can wire your Lux back up, probe it with a voltmeter, and then run your system in cool and heat, it should be possible to determine which is your reversing valve. Note that some systems have lock out for up to 5 minutes when going between heat and cool, so wait a while when running those two cases.

Looks like a heat pump stat to me.
Do you have the old stat's model number?
What brand is your outdoor unit?

The Honeywell RTH7500 requires that you choose either O or B for the reversing valve. If you were using both for a damper system or ambient control, you will need a different stat.

It is slightly possible that B was common. I doubt this though, I haven't seen Lux identify common as B before. Trane does.

White Rodgers has some good choices.
