I have a Trane model number TWE048C140B3 and from the look of things must be about 11 years old (Same age as the house) The blower started running 24/7 irrespective of the selector position on the thermostat. Replacing the thermostat did not resolve my concern. What are the possible causes and suggested remedies?
When one believes no proof is necessary when one does not believe no proof is adequate

Fan relay on the circuit board sticking on. Need a new board. Remove the G wire from the board. If the fan stops then you have a short in the wiring. If not then it is the board.
