I have an Lennox c26-41-1. When I turn the thermostat on. The heater kicks on like normal. But when it runs, it turns off before the setpoint and then kicks back on. Then back off,then back on. About 3 times before it reaches setpoint. Is this normal? Its operating normal,except for this problem.

Does the main blower that circulates air in the house continue to run while this on/off cycle happens or does the entire system turn off/on?

The main blower shuts off, but only for a few seconds, then kicks back on. It only does it on long runs. When I wake up in the morinig. I change the setting from about 66 to 72 or so. That is when it does it. But during the day on short runs, just to maintain 72, it runs fine.

it may be running on its not full load amps
