I had waterlines break while I was gone and my furnace took a shower. After drying the furnace out using an air compressor, then a fan overnight (with power turned off) I began to troubleshoot. Initially I had a pressure switch error which I corrected by blowing compressed air directly on the switch and through the hose. The Furnace no kicks on the induction blower, lights the igniter and the burners kick on. The burners only stay on about 15 seconds and then shut down. The gas valve shows no voltage at shut down. I have by-passed the three rolling switches to no avail. I noticed the blower motor does not kick on (however it does in cooling mode) and ran a jumper hot wire to the “heat terminal” on the board. Burners still kicked out. I jumpered 24 volts to the gas valve after the burners lit. The burners stayed lit until the induction motor dropped out, then they only burned off free flow fuel. I’m thinking the control board “let the smoke out” when it got wet. I hate to spend the money if I’m overlooking something, anyone have ideas?

First off was the furnace underwater or just exposed to water ? If it was submerged then several parts will need to be replaced, typically if any motor is submerged it needs to be replaced, same with gas valve and any circuit boards. With that being said it sounds like to me the board needs replaced, however if the blower motor was under water i would suggest replacing it.The manufacture and any company will suggest to you replacement of entire furnace.

It was never submerged, just "showered" by water than ran through the floor and duct work.

The board for certain i would also check for water inside the blower housing. Is it an 80 or 90% ?
