The Armstrong mech heat pump t-stat has 6 terms used RCWYGO. The honeywell has 5 terms G (W or O/B) C Y R-RC. I set up the stat th6110d for heat/ cool heat pump. The 2nd term is O. Where do I land the W lead? Also I was asked if the O term was energized when it called for heat. I had voltage 24v between C and O, indicating it is used for heat vs cool. I live in the Chicago area and the condo unit has nat gas and the AC unit outside. The orig t-stat armstrong has a switch for E heat. Can I use the honeywell th6110d? I rarly ever see the AC unit work as heat as the burners most often fire when the stat calls for heat.
