i need to replace my blower motor on my luxaire heat/ac furnace and im not sure what type of motor i need i know its a 1hp motor 115v 60hz but is there anything else i need to know before i purchase the motor

Try and get the existing motor data off the motor case. Then you will know the frame size, shaft diameter and all the other necessary attributes of the motor you need to match. Are you sure the motor is bad and not possibly the run capacitor?

the tech. said it was the internal overload inside the motor.the motor still runs but it send my furnace into short rapid cycles.would a bad internal overload do somthing like that
