Just installed a new HVAC (Trane XL15i Heatpump & Trane XV80 gas furnace) dual fuel system. My installer replaced my old thermostat with a new Honeywell IAQ. Question is, when I went to set up the advanced functions (in particular, function 500), for the furnace filter change reminder (page 24 of the manual), there is an "Auto Alert" option that "requires optional equipment"...I can find nowhere that tells me what optional equipment is required. My installer is unsure as well. Can anyone help me out here??

If you have the RF Electronic Air Cleaner set it to auto discover otherwise select a run time reminder interval

I'm assuming I do not have the RF Electronic Air Cleaner...who makes it and is there a part number for the Trane XV80 furnace application of this cleaner?
