I Bought a new thermostat to replace the one that came with the house, The home is only 2.5 years old. I thought I could exchange wire color for wire color, but new thermostat has a different wire diagram. Ive taken pics of the old thermostat wiring and diagram from the instructions that came with the old thermostat , along with the label on the side of heating/AC unit. The New Thermostat is a Hunter Model 44665 but instruction that came with it says Model 44668 & 44660, I'm assuming they are the same, hunters website didn't help much. I have posted the pictures on http://photobucket.com/dietdewman1 . Please Help. I just need to know what color wire goes where, the colors are Green Yellow White Red and Blue, The brown wire isn't attached to anything.

Thank you

TURN POWER OFF TO FURNACE AT BRAKER FIRST!

hook the wires as follows.

REMOVE BLUE WIRE AT FURNACE

wire--------thermostat
red -------- RC1
white ------ W/B
yellow ----- Y/O
green-- G
Jumper RC and RH

System Selector switch to HG/HE
DON'T FORGET TO REMOVE BLUE WIRE AT FURNACE

Turn power back on...go to go

You will also need to jumper Rc to R1 (red connects to 3 terminals).

"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.

Rc and Rc1 are already connected internally
