I have a customer that has line voltage drops alot, what can I do to keep the unit from locking out,and eliminate me from having to go and reset the circuit breakers to get the heatpump operating again.I have already told her to get electrician at her house and figure out why she is having voltage drops, she hasn't done it yet, need suggestions, please.

sometimes a hard start (rec kickstart) kit can help with low voltage supply to the compressor. If you think about it makes sense a capacitor in some ways is like a storage device for elec energy adding a 200MFD boost on startup will help. Try it out, depending on the manufacture there may be a start assist kit available. However hard starts are easier to install one leg to common one leg to hermetic (Dual Run Caps)
