our HVAC company installed twinned furnaces about ten years ago in a residence.we have replaced three circuit boards in the last two years.I was not involved in the previous service calls but last Friday I went out on a complaint of furnace running with call for heat satisfied.t-stat set at 64 furnace running and 76 degrees in house.(this was not happening at the time and I could not duplicate the problem).Could the t-stat be failing intermittently?Could the t-stat cause the board to fail intermittently?Its a Honeywell t-stat same age as unit(10 yrs)I dont want to just keep changing boards at $300 a pop.I told the customer to call when this occurs and we will try to diagnose then.I have both door swithes bypassed so I can take t-stat readings on the board.Has anyone else run across this problem?
