CPSC, York International Corp. Announce Recall of Gas Furnaces       November 15, 2004

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the manufacturer named below, today announced voluntary recalls of the following consumer product. CPSC, York International Corporation Announce Recall of Gas Furnaces

PRODUCT: Gas Furnaces - York International Corporation of York Pa., has initiated a voluntary recall to inspect and possibly repair about 7,000 mid-efficiency 80 percent gas furnaces manufactured between May 1, 2001 and July 16, 2001 to correct possible unsecured heat exchanger tubes in furnaces.

 

Honeywell- Electric Baseboard Heater Thermostat T4600, CT1650 Recall
Consumers should stop using the T4600 and CT1650 electric baseboard heater thermostats and call Honeywell toll-free at 1-877-575-4533 anytime to determine if their thermostat is involved in this recall
