THM5320R newbie help

I am a noob and I had my line from my slant fin furnace cut on accident to my thermostat. I can't seem to find a way to get the wire back to it so I decided to get a THM5320R system that included the wireless device for redlink ,and the thermostat. I have two wires that are currently hooked into my thermostat a red one that goes to RH and a white one that goes to W but the current thermostat is battery powered and this new THM5320R wireless unit is not so i do not know how to hook up the wires as when I put them in the same spot on the new module the unit doesnt get power. Can someone please help me out. I would appreciate it a lot. Thank you so much.

You need a common wire to the t-stat look at the schematic in the furnace and you should be able to figure it out. Be forewarned that when you start messing with the control voltage you are taking a chance of burning out the transformer or blowing fuse.

I am sorry that I am not understanding but I still only see two wires coming from the Furnance. Should I be looking any where else would a picture help at all of anything * Thanks

Ah I see.... is this something I can do or should I consult a * Also would it have to be an electrician or the guy that usually takes care of my furnace if it breaks.

The system you have chosen is very nice and also complicated involving careful connections and a dedicated 24 volt transformer (*.forwardthinking.*/related_links/zoning/truezone/install/69-2199-HZ322InstallationGuide.pdf). I recommend you have someone who understands schematic diagrams come and help you wire the control panel to the furnace.
