My blower motor stopped working correctly today. It just stalls and hums. I took the motor apart and cleaned and oiled parts. The motor runs but only when coaxed in the right direction. On top of that.. It will run in either direction that i coax it.. It feels like it is not getting a kick in the right direction and just sits at a stalemate. This sounds like an electrical problem to me.. Any *

When not powered motor spins freely and has no problem coasting.

Ok... Nevermind. I figured it out. It is a blown Capacitor, it regulates the direction the motor will turn.

9 times out of 10, when a PSC motor will run with a little push or run in the wrong direction with a little push, it's the capacitor.
