New Humidifier

Hello,

I wanted to upgrade my humidifier from a standard drum style to the WAIT 6000. Based on the installation instructions, the humidifier should be installed parallel to where the you run the bypass tube from the humidifier to the supply duct. The problem that I seem to have is that the furnace exhaust runs across the return duct right where this new humidifier should go. I've linked a pic of my setup. Can I somehow re-route the exhaust duct * what are my options here.

Just install the Wait 6000 in place of the old drum humidifier. Leave the duct work the way it is. It will be OK.
You will need a drain line from the new Wait unit. It is a small plastic hose that you will need to hook into an existing drain line.
Hope you bought the digital unit. I have this one it works well.
