First posted on this on the 29th of June -AC leaking from evaporator coil housing, down side of furnace, inside and out. Thought we had it fixed when a tech came and opened the plenum and found debris in the drain. Also found some coils touching the plenum walls. The unit ran for 4 days after that with no problem. Then water started leaking again. tech came and found other tubing that was touching the inside of the plenum walls. He said this tubing was extending beyond where the drain pan would catch it. He moved the tubing. About 6 hours later the leaking started again and has continued since.
So far as we know, the drain is clear - there is plenty of water running out of the unit as it should when it takes humidity out of the air. The AC is cooling the house but the leaking continues. We have had three techs here on 6 occasions. Any ideas on what's causing this would be muchly appreciated.
Thanks.
