Ductless Heat Pump question

Post by advancedheating » Mon Sep 17, 2012 10:20 pm

Hello Group

Im a newbie and just joined. question on Ductless splits. Is anyone familiar on required superheat on a ductless air conditioning unit?
I was always told dont bother putting gauges on just dump the charge if theres a refrigerant problem and weigh it in, but I was talking to a Sanyo technician and I believe they told me around 3-5 degrees of SH at the service valve. As everything in this industry ask 10 questions get 10 answers but I thought I'd see if this forum could help

You need to get the specific data sheet for the unit in question. Since you provide no model number it's hard for anyone to answer you correctly.
