I would find a company to see if the leak is located where it can be repaired. If you trust the same company, use them. It's a definite coincidence but opening things up can move components and cause a leak to happen. However once they remove the refrigerant to repair the leak you will be able to see the leak area itself and determine if it looks like a clean cut (deliberate) or is jagged and the result of poor manufacturing.
