Touble wiring my Z wave thermostat

Postby slarkin826 » Thu Oct 25, 2012 3:10 pm

I just got an ADT security system with z wave thermostats. The installer hooked up one but I wanted to save $200 on the second one. I did not label the wires and terminals before removing the old system. I have wired the new one just like the old one was wired but not getting any power to the new one. It does not require batteries and had to strip the blue wire to hook it up. I tested the thermostat that does not get power downstairs and it powers on. I have tested the wires and they are getting power. Am I missing something or is there a simple fix? I currently have red wire on 24rc, green on g, yellow on y1, blue on 24c and white on w1. Can someone please help me and let me know if there is a fix? Thanks

I found the answer to my problem. The blue wire was not connected at the furnace either.
