I had to replace my exhaust motor and it now runs constantly. It smells like something is overheating as well. If I turn the furnace on, the motor starts, the burners ignite and a cycle starts. The problem is, it shuts down without reaching the required temp and the exhaust motor continues to run.
Anyone know what the heck is happening here?

Make and model of the furnace please. When you replaced the exhaust (inducer) motor did you turn off the power to the furnace?
"The problem is, it shuts down without reaching the required temp... ". Do the furnace burners turn off and the main blower that circulates air in the house also stop? If both the burners and blower stop, does the furnace try and restart after a minute or so?
