why remove high and low pressure relays

I had a contractor replae an compressor on a 3 1/2 ton split home AC.

He had to return 3 times?-

Once the evaporator was making a lot of noise from a under charge and the split temp was low

once again to bolt down the new compressor he forgot to do it the first time

Once again to replace to replace the new the compressor after 5 days as it would not start

I notice he disconnected both the high pressure and low pressure relay that are there to protect the new compressor

Should I demand he connect these relay or just call another contactor and ask he pay for it

Yes they have a nice new fleet of trucks all full of morons who do this kind of hack jobs

Call (email) the company and tell them exactly what you have posted here. Ask that the pressure relays be reconnected and they send a different tech. You have a better chance of getting things fixed if you stay with the same company. Hopefully the next tech will be more capable.
