York vs Tappan Heat Pump

I live in a 1500 sq ft townhome in PA and am looking to replace our heat pump. I have received a few quotes and have narrowed the search down to the York YHJF3054151 and a Tappan 16 SEER 3 ton, 2 stage heat pump. I have been looking at some reviews of these two. So far, I have found very conflicting reviews for York products. Some reviews say York is great and others say it is horrible and they are constantly calling for repairs. I have not had much luck finding reviews for the Tappan.

Would you suggest going with the York or the Tappan?

Also, is it really beneficial to have a humidifier and air cleaner installed as well?
