Either AC or * *!

So my system is probably wired wrong. We called a professional to look at our AC (b/c it wasn't working), and he switch some wires around because that was the only way to get AC. He told us that when we are ready for heat, we just have to switch the wires back and then we can only get heat. What can I do to fix this problem once and for all so that the heat and AC can just be turned on automatically when we need it * HELP!

really sounds as though you need a tech. who can troubleshoot it correctly and repair it.
