Problems related to residential installations.

I just got my hands on some DAMPACT 45Deg-B dampers and 24volt power supply. No instructions/schematic. They can be powered to the opened or closed position. I assume that regardless of position, when the damper gets there, the power supply continues and there is some internal mechanism which prevents the motor from burning out. In other words, there isn't some external control needed to shut off the power when the damper has opened or closed. You power it open (or closed) and the power source continues to feed that position until it is switched to the other side to close (or open) the damper, correct? Just want to check before I burn something out. Thanks
