Honeywell Thermostat programable, settings

I have installed a RTH7500 in place of my old mercury type thermostat. I wired it up as follow c-blue g-green y-yellow o/b-orange rc-jumped with-red Aux- white e- x2black did not connect tan. I have a trane unit Heat pump/ with aux heat & emergency heat. on the set up on the honeywell 0170 should I select #7 heat pump with back up or auxilliary heating. or # 9 which is heat/cool multiple stages, 2 heat stages(wires on W and w2) 1 cooling stage y.( on the contoller it has markings on terminals on right w-which is th aux i have the white wire on & E which i have black wire x2 attached and L terminal i have nothing wire to it) hope i was not to confusing, Thanks!!
