New Gas Pack

I purchased a property in Durham NC. I had a company replaced the Gas Pack. The new Gas Pack is not cooling the one story 1700 sq foot house. The house will not cool below 77 and does not hold 77. The temp has gone up to 80 with the theromstat set on 70. The installer tells me the the unit will never cool to 70 if the temp outside is above 90. My experience with homeownership for 30 years causes me to question his response. I live in a property in Durham the thermo is set at 74 and it is cold in the house. Is the GAS PACK capable of cooling below *

Best to question this NOW before warranty runs out, call them back ask what Delta^T is .
Sounds like the reduced ductwork size to match new unit and low airflow not letting cooling reach temps.

sometimes package units come slightly undercharged. if they did not verify the charge, that could be the problem.
