Tried to start the furnace earlier today, and got the blinking led flashiing 4 times, indicating the highlimit is stuck open. Checked higlimit with an ohm meter and switch is closed. Checked for 24VAC on the input of the switch and output, power is there. The controller is a 50a50-131 General 90. Not sure what to think other than the controller is bad?

might be a lose wire on safety swiches

Followed power to through the high limit back to the controller connector which lands on the CPU. Also followed teh PS and seen it switch from open to closed with the induction motor.

have you tried killing power and turning back on to reset board?
