I had to replace a sequencer on my furnace and I rewired it according to the wiring diagram but now my furnace won't come on. Any answers as to what might be wrong with **

did you buy the one designated as replacement for that part from a coleman distributor or did you buy a generic sequencer off the shelf *

are you sure the heater on the sequencer is the right voltage *

what were the symptoms that prompted you to replace it to start with *

do you have a fuse *

did you verify all your breakers are on *

I bought the sequencer from a mobile home parts store. I made sure that the part number matched and took the extra step by taking the old sequencer in to make sure it matched as well. I had to replace it because part of it and some wires had melted. I was told it melted because my furnace constantly ran and never shut off. I have checked the fuse and it is fine and I did turn all the breakers on after I had replaced the part. Could it be the thermostat that has gone bad as *
