RITE TEMP CHILLER SYSTEM

Postby siva » Tue Oct 25, 2011 4:51 pm

I'M IN THE PROCESS OF RECOVERING REFRIGERANT FROM A COMPRESSOR UNIT. AFTER REMOVING THE REFRIGERANT, I PUT A VACUUM ON THE SYSTEM FOR OVER 6 HOURS.
I LEFT THE GUAGES ON THE UNIT FOR OVER 24 HOURS. I LOST VACUUM ON THE HIGH-SIDE SO I STARTED THE VACUUM PROCESS OVER AGAIN. I'M THINKING MAYBE ALL OF
THE REFRIGERANT WASN'T RECOVERED IN THE CONDENSOR OR MAYBE A LEAK? PRIOR TO THE EVACUATION I DID PERFORM A LEAK CHECK AND FOUND NOTHING. WHAT ELSE
DO YOU THINK I NEED TO DO? MY FOCUS IS ON THE CONDENSOR....

If you are still looking for help I would pressure test with nitrogen for 24 hours then make a decision,
