Westinghouse Coke machine not cooling

I have a westinghouse coke machine from approximately 1956. The compressor is working and turning the thermostat up/down kicks the compressor on/off. Both the compressor fan and the evaporator fan are working. Any insight on how to get this thing cold is greatly appreciated!

heard if you put the machine inside a walk in cooler it will in turn serve cold drinks .... have not tried it but in theory
